World car of the year 2019 – the I electrocreaser Jaguar-Pace

A triumph for JLR announced the results of the competition World Car Awards for 2019

Electrocreaser Jaguar I-Pace was declared the winner in three categories: world car of the year 2019, 2019 Green car of the year and World design car of the year 2019.
For the first time in 15 years the World Car Awards the victory went to one car model in three categories.

And this is only the second case in 15 years that one automaker has achieved a triple victory. Earlier this honor in 2015 was awarded to Mercedes-Benz.British automaker Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) proved to be a designer in the category World Car Design of the Year. So, in 2019 became the company's third victory in a row and fifth in the overall standings when he won the award World Car Design of the Year in 2018 for the Range Rover Velar, in 2017 for the Jaguar F-Pace, in 2012 for the Range Rover Evoque and 2013 Jaguar F-Type. No other car manufacturer has never reached that number of victories in the category Design for the entire 15-year history of the competition.
I Jaguar-Pace was selected from the list including 40 models of applicants in the category "Best car of the year", and then from the short-list of three finalists announced at the Geneva motor show on March 5. In the top three in the world in the final of 2019 also includes Audi e-tron and Volvo S60/V60.
To be eligible for the award of World Green Car in 2019, the car had to use some essential packages of advanced technologies specifically designed to enhance its friendliness toward the environment, as well as produced in the amount of not less than 1000 units a year and to go on sale, at least on the same continent until may 31, 2019.
Cars competing for the award World Car Design of the Year 2019, include all candidates, ranked in five other categories. The group of designers, consisting of seven respected world experts in the field of design, it was proposed first to consider each candidate, and then make a brief list of recommendations for jury members.

Memorable profile I-Pace with short overhangs and muscular texture of the sidewalls create a feeling of dynamism that distinguishes it from other SUVs.
