Today, the British sports car manufacturer Lotus has confirmed, that its the first brand new model in more than a decade under the designation Type 130, will be presented at an exclusive event for the world media in the city of London on 16 July this year.
After the first annotation of the project in April at the International motor show in Shanghai a few hundred potential buyers immediately expressed their interest in purchasing a new car.

Interestingly, today the company announced that the series Type 130 will amount to no more than 130 copies corresponding to the number of cars Lotus Types reported for the entire 71-year history of the brand.
Firm Lotus has also confirmed today that the Type 130 will be built in Hatale in the County of Norfolk, where since 1966, is the headquarters of the brand.
Electric Type 130 will be the most dynamic road hypercar in the company's history, continuing a lineage that is rich in innovations and technical innovations in the automotive industry and motorsports.
