On a new Great Wall plant in Tula region started the test Assembly of the crossover Haval F7

The first Russian plant of the company Great Wall in the industrial Park "Uzlovaya" in 45 km from Tula finally started in test mode. This was reported by the press service of the Chinese brand Haval, which explained that the mass production at the plant will start tentatively in April-may of this year.
Representatives Haval said: "All the necessary equipment is successfully imported into the territory of the Russian Federation and has already been mounted in the plant area. Just putting finishing touches: to conduct the debugging process, the cleaning of workshops, to test the readiness of logistics and maintenance".
Purchased Haval promises cutting-edge solutions in the field of environmental protection and energy saving, compliance with the strictest safety requirements.
In the shops of stamping and welding 80 mounted robots for welding and 38 for painting and is now commissioning of the equipment and go final preparations for test production. Also in the Assembly shop has completed the installation of all automated conveyors and manipulators for Assembly of large units of the car. Suppliers of equipment were made by such famous manufacturers as: ABB, Dürr, Fagor and so on.
It is assumed that at the initial stage the plant can manufacture up to 80 thousand cars at the level of localization 30%. At the second stage within five years the company should reach its full capacity in 150 thousand cars a year, and the level of localization will be over 50%. The total investment in the project is estimated at $500 million. the Company covers an area of 2.16 million m2. The industrial complex includes a stamping plant, welding, Assembly and painting.
The firstborn of the new enterprise will be a 7-seat crossover Haval F7, whose premiere at the Moscow international motor show (MIAS-2018). Dimensions 4620х1846х1690 mm, wheelbase 2725 mm (clearance 147 mm) and curb weight 1610 kg
targeted at buyers in the age range from 20 to 35 years and
flaunts led optics headlamps and imposing grille hexagon pattern "small cell."
Under the bonnet F7 – 1.5 liter turboservice GW4B15 developing 150 HP and 280 N•m, aggregated with 6-step "robot" DCT. With this engine the maximum speed F7 is 180 km/h and acceleration to 100 km/h in 9,7 s. In the future in Russia is planned to the 2-liter turbo GW4C20NT, outstanding 190 HP and 345 N•m, which allows to accelerate to 100 km/h in 8.6 s and the maximum speed reaches 195 km/h. Certified flow rate of 6.8 l/100 km. Interestingly, measurements of Chinese automotive portal autohome.com.cn average consumption "92-octane" gasoline at F7 in version 2.0 T is 9.7 l/100 km (certified flow rate of 7.3 l/100 km).
After 2020, the factory in the Hub will be mastered production of crossover Haval F5.
