The most popular electric car company JAC Motors electrocreaser iEV7S (sales growth for 6 months of 2019 is almost 4 times up to 3.84 million – ed.) successfully passed the crash test for the new requirements of C-NCAP, which entered into force in July last year.

Currently, China is actively developing the production of electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids (NEV), which assessment center security C-NCAP has tightened the norms for this type of vehicles. After the entry into force of the new edition of the rules of the C-NCAP since July 2018 under the new methodology was tested in total six models of electric vehicles from different manufacturers, three of which received five stars, one four, and two models were evaluated on two points.

In a frontal crash test, JAC iEV7S, only equipped with front airbags experienced the collision with the barrier at a speed of 50 km/h. in Addition, the vehicle was tested for side impact, and was held a more solid impact with a 40 percent offset at a speed of 64 km/h. the Test was deemed successful, although detailed results will be published later. Compact crossover JAC iEV7S equipped with electric installation with a rechargeable battery, providing the power reserve on a single charge up to 402 km In 2020-2021 gg. this model is scheduled for release on the Russian market.

Today it is not the first model of JAC Motors, which received a high grade in the tests. In 2015, the crossover JAC S3 won the award in C-NCAP 2015 as the safest car in China by the vote of the owners, choosing among the 50 candidate models with five-star rating. S3 then JAC took first place with 21 547 votes, which accounted for 25% of the total number of votes and has received the highest recognition from industry professionals and consumers.

PS I don't quite understand the pride of the JAC? Five-star result, they obviously could not get, at least from the minimal set PB, limited to only the front cushions, but let me – it's all a Hello from the last century! And if this is done for the sake of reducing any cost to the sales price tag of an electric car, then it's clearly not the "savings" that should be welcomed. Against this background, mention 5 star safety its gasoline counterpart S3, which it clearly has not held up, just not appropriate... it is hoped that by the time of his appearance on the Russian market JAC iEV7S get at least a full set of airbags.
