On Friday, the number of Russian cars on the B0 platform exceeded one million

Friday – June 14, 2019 from the conveyor line B0 of JSC "AVTOVAZ" moved out millionth car on platform B0 of the world.

Hero of the day was a compact crossover LADA XRAY Cross, which was aimed not at the factory Museum, and directly in the dealer network

The ceremony collectors of the line were congratulated by the President of JSC "AVTOVAZ" IV Karakatsanis, who said: "My career at Groupe Renault is closely connected with AVTOVAZ line B0. In his first visit to Russia in 2013-2016 years I was involved in the launch of production of Logan and Sandero on this conveyor. Today, I can see how the increased professionalism of the team and competence of each employee, as effectively here are introduced the production technology of the Alliance. It all helps to achieve our goal of providing the highest quality of vehicles".

Line W0: the story of success

A consortium of investors led by the State Corporation "Rostehnologii" (today the rostec state Corporation), which owns JSC "AVTOVAZ" and the French concern of Renault has signed 29 February 2008, the document on strategic partnership for the joint project of Renault-Nissan Alliance and AVTOVAZ to produce cars on a global platform B0.

The launch of the new line, which was attended by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, took place in April 2012. The first model on the platform B0 became the station wagon LADA Largus. New rhinestones have become very popular in the first years of issue for her in a number of regions lined up in the real queue. She now enjoys stable demand (as, for example, contributed to the state program "family car"), taking 7th place in the ranking of sales of new passenger cars in Russia. About the national recognition of the model is the fact that the LADA Largus became in Russia "Car of the year" in different nominations 7 times!

After LADA Largus in 2012, stood up on the conveyor sedan Nissan Almera. The fact that the Assembly of LADA cars and the world of the Nissan brand was made on the same line of svidetelstvuet about the high level of training of the factory team, mastering advanced technology to produce cars that meet international standards.

In 2013 on the line B0 has mastered the Assembly of the Renault Logan sedan of new generation (which was transferred from the Moscow plant units "Renault Russia").

In 2015 the same year the production of LADA on the B0 platform was extended by the model Largus Cross: this version has been upgraded to meet the growing demand for vehicles with the characteristics of the crossovers. In August 2018 at the WHA started assembling cross-Stepway Renault Logan sedan, which is evidence of the full confidence of the Alliance to the company in Togliatti in terms of the release of its new products. Finally, in October 2018, was launched production of the model LADA XRAY Cross, which represents the development direction of urban crossovers with enhanced accessibility. So, the clearance from XRAY Cross was a record for production models LADA – 215 mm. In this model, a first for the Tolyatti cars received the application of the intelligent control of patency of the LADA Ride Select.

For today line "W0" – one of the three lines of JSC "AVTOVAZ", which started to produce cars of two brands – LADA and Renault (in total 12 models). The maximum annual capacity of the line is 280 thousand cars a year (at three-shift operation), and the worker paced line – 1 car per minute.
