General Motors company in November announced plans to close three Assembly plants in North America (including Camtrace, whose sign on the splash photo). So, here they have found a buyer and the buyer this... none other than Tesla Inc. under the leadership of CEO Elon musk. In a recent interview he noted that might be interested in a buyout offer of GM plants with the prospect to convert them for the needs of Tesla if GM is no longer going to use the power.

The Tesla factory Fremont, the former NUMMI

Recall that the actual development of Tesla's work continued successfully in 2010 with the acquisition of the NUMMI plant in Fremont, California – formerly owned by a JV of General Motors and Toyota Motor. Then, shortly after the bankruptcy NUMMI plant managed to buy quite cheaply – for $42 million.
As a result of Tesla was able to get former employees of NUMMI, and now 8 years later, the working staff of the unit Tesla Fremont, produces more than 300 thousand electric vehicles a year, already exceeds the initial number of employees of NUMMI.

And when again GM is closing their American factories at Tesla again there is a big chance to buy from a competitor at a reasonable price ready infrastructure and a skilled workforce.
Elon Musk broadcasts: "the Mission of Tesla is to accelerate the emergence of electric vehicles all over the world, help create a sustainable transport system and help the environment. After all, these are the most serious problems faced by humanity."
In addition, Elon Musk mentioned in an interview that Tesla technology will soon be transferred to the regime of open patent and will be available to all other car manufacturers that will help them to quickly adjust to the production of electric vehicles.
Let me remind you that the Tesla building the Gigafactory giavarini 3 in Shanghai (the first overseas factory of Tesla) cost $2 billion plant in Europe, and now to this list will be added and enterprise in North America.

Tesla Model 3 aims for new heights

At the moment, Tesla is already out on the daily rate of production for 1000 units of electric car Model 3, yet the cost of machines remains high, so production issues remain for Tesla, the main stumbling block.
