Today Esipovo in Moscow, President Putin opened the new car Assembly production Daimler AG

On 3 April, Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the opening ceremony of the long-awaited Assembly plant of Daimler AG on the territory of industrial Park "Esipovo" in Solnechnogorsk district of Moscow region. The plant is designed to produce passenger cars Mercedes-Benz. The "Interfax" reports that the opening ceremony of the plant in the Moscow region, the President got on national limo AURUS Senat L700 (previously known as project "Cortege"), which started using since his inauguration on 7 may 2018.

The plant Putin inspected the final stage of the build process business sedans Mercedes E-class (tB. "marriage," connection features of the body to powertrain and chassis components). The oldest and most distinguished German automobile concern Daimler AG has started construction of the first in Russia factory on manufacture of cars of Mercedes E-class in June of 2017. The project was carried out in accordance with the special investment contract (SPIC), which ensures the constancy of the tax burden on the duration of the contract and stability of the business. Daimler suitable Speke was signed in February of this year.

The design capacity of the plant amounts to 25 thousand cars a year. OEMs is mounted on the principle of fully flexible Assembly technology level "industry 4.0". This gives the ability to simultaneously produce on the same line as the model for several different automotive platforms. The number of factory workers (when fully loaded ed.) exceed 1,000 and to the end of March in the number of employees has already scored over 500 people. It is noteworthy that about 30% of staff were residents of nearby communities.
In 2019, the plant plans to expand local production of the sedan E-class, and later to start production of SUV models, GLE, GLC and GLS. Total investment of the German company in the production area account for about ₽16 billion (over €250 million). The production facility will meet the newly established company "Mercedes-Benz manufacturing Rus" under the direction of Axel Bense. Earlier, the head of "Mercedes-Benz Rus", Jan Madej said that produced in the factory cars of the brand Mercedes-Benz, starting from the current year can be purchased for the needs of the Russian public sector.

PS Recall that the Mercedes-Benz brand was deprived of the right to the tenders  with state agencies since the mid-2015, when the sanctions came out, the ban the Russian government for the supply of Russian state and municipal organizations and agencies of imported cars.
