"AVTOVAZ" will stop production of the popular cars

Rumors about the imminent stoppage of the conveyor for the production of "priors" were for a long time. But now, apparently, more seriously: "AVTOVAZ" has already sent to its dealers information about what new parties popular budget sedan can not wait. This is with reference to own sources reports the newspaper "Vedomosti".

Recent instances of "priors" will be released in June: in the production plan for July is this model does not appear. Currently the sedan is from 424 to 533 900 400 rubles. This is one of the most affordable cars on the market.

For "AVTOVAZ" and the entire Russian market, "Priora" became the whole epoch. Not only that, the car itself was produced in 2007, that is 11 years old, so after all, it was an updated version of the "Dozens" which stood on the conveyor in the distant 1995. It turns out that the sedans of this family produced a total of 23 years!

You can go even further: the project VAZ-2110 was started 80's, the first prototypes of the built in 1985 and the start of serial production is planned for 1992 (the reason for the delay was the economic crisis). So even it's no stretch to say that the project underlying the "priors" has turned 30 years old.
