Legendary automobile designer Chris Bangle (Chris Bangle) is remembered for his bold experiments in the BMW. He has long left the German company, but many still remember his work. In a fresh interview with Autonews Mr Bangle called the image of modern machines "banal".

Bangle entered the history of the automotive industry as one of the most daring designers. It was from his pen came the BMW 7 Series (E65), which gathered a lot of angry feedback. That's what Chris Bangle said on the podium of one of his former competitors at the motor show in Frankfurt: "It is a great stand, it demonstrates remarkable technology. But as a designer I'm used to the uniqueness, freshness and change. It will turn into criticism, but I can't find new ideas. They have really good designers, but I've seen it before in other places."

Autonews diplomatic representatives did not elaborate on what brand it is. If it is a direct competitor to the BMW, it is likely that Bangle was criticized Audi or Mercedes-Benz.
