At its first ever press conference on February 13 JSC "ISUZU RUS" shared the successful results of the activities of the past year and the far-reaching plans for the current year.
From "ISUZU RUS" press conference was held by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Ryoji Yamazaki, Director General of Fabrice Gorle and COO Igor Davydov.
The subject of the celebration of the company were data of the "AUTOSTAT info", according to which it is the brand Isuzu became the leader among the freight cars in General (i.e. more than 5 t total mass), having a growth of 7.8% and ahead of, remaining in second place Scania and became the third MAN. Share Isuzu specifically among Asian brands over the past four years rose from 6.6% to 44.7%. For 2016, the growth was 5.9% or 2.7 thousand cars shipped to dealers, although excluding pickups Isuzu D-Max the B2C segment, which, incidentally, implemented since October according to the "AUTOSTAT info" in the amount of 21 units (including one pickup truck was Weesen for certification back in February).
By the way, Fabrice of Gorle said that he "fought" for the introduction of a pickup truck D-Max on the Russian market for three (!) years. Pickup Isuzu D-Max is offered in five trim levels: Terra, Aqua, Air, Flame, and Energy, and as a certified Arctic Trucks AT35 modification intended for operation in severe off-road conditions. Samples of the pickups was presented at the press conference in its natural form.
Among the significant accomplishments of 2016 was the opening of two warehouses in Moscow and Vladivostok. It has allowed to reduce terms of deliveries of spare parts and to extend their range by 20%.
Located in Ulyanovsk plant "ISUZU-RUS", the fully redeemed from the Ulyanovsk region area, which in turn sold her former auctioneer "SOLLERS", designed for annual production of 5,000 trucks of all classes from 3.5 to 33 t gross mass. In 2016, was released 20 000 NY truck, and in 2017 in addition to the expected release of more than 3.0 thousand freight cars, including such novelties as heavy (18-33 t total mass) series Giga, by the way, the release of which will be implemented for the first time outside Japan, as well as all-wheel drive version of the lightweight chassis Isuzu NMS85 and medium-duty ISUZU chassis NPR82/CNG with gas engine (spark ignition) methane. In the future, similar to gas engines will be offered for all three families, including Giga. By the way, in the future it is planned to increase the localization of the heavy series, for example, by installing domestic tipper platforms (so far only company "avtomaster", and then other manufacturers). Also in 2017 there will be a full translation of the N/F on the diesel engines of the ecological standard Euro-5. In 2017 the company plans to increase sales of all types of trucks in Russia not less than 25%.
According to "AUTOSTAT" info Park commercial vehicles brand Isuzu at the beginning of 2017 includes more than 70 000 machines, and therefore, its maintenance is among the basic priorities in work of the company. So, customers Isuzu offers service contracts that allow you to clearly plan your budget and save about 20% on the maintenance.
Today the whole territory of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan covers a vast dealer network, which consists of 52 partner centers. The staff of the "ISUZU RUS" is at beginning of 2017 238 people. The company's branches are located in Moscow and 2014 in Novosibirsk, and from 2016 – in Yekaterinburg and Vladivostok.
